We have produced data by growing six different fungal strains at five different pH ranges with three replicates, what types of data analysis should be performed to find out optimum pH as best growth parameter?
Could you be more specific about your data? As I understand, you have six strains of fungi. These each receive 5 different pH levels; but, you only have 3 fungi per strain. The data would look like in the Excel file in attachment. I filled in some fabricated data in the shaded area. If your data are like this, you have a Between (strains) x Within (pH level) randomized block (3 subjects or blocks) design. In this case you can run an ANOVA with repeated measures.
