I have a MSc. in civil engineering from University of Tabriz. I am an expert with twenty years of experience in the field of hydraulic structures design. Alongside technical study and experience, I have done some researches projects on the hydraulic structures’ field. In my recent research project, I have done a study on the operation management of dams with gated spillways during the flood. This research resulted in presenting a novel method called "IRFOM" (i.e., Intelligent Reservoir Flood Operation Management) to plan operation management rule of spillway’s gates during the flood, and the result is published in “Arabian Journal of Geosciences” entitled "A novel method to plan short term operation rule for gated-spillways during flood". Also, the algorithm of the method is coded in C# with a friendly user interface.
The proposed IRFOM model is only applicable for single storage dam. Developing the model for using in a watershed with several storage dams will be more interesting and practical. Thus, I am determined to develop the IRFOM model to be applicable in watershed with several dam reservoir, as a new research project.
Due to the project work-intensive nature, I need technical support and sponsorship to carry out the project, as a research project, sponsored by a company or university. Finally, the project will resulted to provide a useful software for planning operation rule of dam reservoir at the flood, and develop the code to make it useable in the dam’s automatic operation systems.
