After 24 hours of treatment with plant extract, MCF-7 cells underwent this change. About 6 hours later, the cells are completely destroyed. I doubt what kind of cell death these cells have. Apoptosis? Autophagy? Necroptosis? necrosis?
A phase contrast photograph after 6 h from the above time point could help determine the actual mechanism.

This new photo is 48 hours after treatment with plant extract. Cancer cells are detached and float from the bottom of the cell culture plate. According to the previous photo, the cells appear to have autophagy and detached from the bottom of the dish on the second day, but it is unclear whether autophagy caused the death of cancer cells. Please share your opinion with me.
