I am looking for open-access journals in the field of management and quality sciences in which the publishing process is fast. In particular, I mean titles from the attached list. Which are fast and open access? Does somebody know?
As far as my concern, best open access journal for Social science research is Sustainability (MDPI publisher), PLoS-One, Sage-Open. While, i recommend you Sustainability (MDPI) because Its JCR impact factor (2.592 2019, Q2). Sustainability (MDPI) have the fast publication process. In my case, When i published my paper it took 1.5 month for the whole publication process.
If the editors and reviewers are very fast then your paper will probably be full of errors and mistakes. To - in effect - publish an only half-ready paper is a disservice to everyone, it is morally suspicious, and ultimately it is a waste of time for all involved.
Whose to blame, then? First the author for being lazy, not checking all facts and making sure that the output is correct and interesting. Second the too quick round of refereeing by each reviewer, leaving much more than ten mistakes per page. Third the decision from the editor, who should have had a conscience, but took the decision to shell out a sub-par paper in order to cash in.
That's - in a nutshell - how plenty of journals work.
