Hello,

I'm involved in a project that aims to develop an algorithm that can automatically measure (and later ideally also identify) pre-aspiration in acoustic data. So far, we've tried the algorithm on Welsh English and Welsh, and we will have some Icelandic and Mongolian data later on.

I wanted to ask if there's anyone who's got annotated pre-aspiration data who would be kind enough to let us use it to see how well the algorithm does if extended to other languages. We've been working on voiceless pre-aspiration, so we're looking for data where, if (local/subsegmental) breathiness is annotated, it's annotated separately from voiceless pre-aspiration.

We'd be very grateful for annotated data and, of course, the ultimate goal is to make anyone's pre-aspiration annotation way less time consuming than it is now, so it's all for a very good purpose.
