Dear C.M.J. Mutsaers, polymers have no vapor pressures or zero vapor pressure, simply because the are non-volatiles, and they don't evaporate. Non-stabilized PVC (polyvinyl chloride) has a low onset degradation temperature, say arround 80°C. My Regards
I know of course about the vapour pressure of polymers but there are catalytic-assisted systems which have a lower decomposition temperature. Question is how low can the temperature be to completely evaporate the polymer upon decomposition.
