Last year, we published a thermodynamic perspective on liquid phase exfolation of 2D materials. Herein, we did a literature survey and listed, to the best of our knowledge, all literature reports wherein LPE has been optimized through solvent screening/solubility parameter matching. You proposed review is very interesting, highly inspiring the further exploitation of 2D materials in their properties and applications. We would like to introduce our works in size fractionation and identification of LE-MoS2 via the gel electrophoresis (Adv. Funct. Mater. 2018, 28, 1801622; Small 2018, 14, 1703560). Additionally, the reactions between LE-MoS2 and HAuCl4 could optically recognize the plane size of nanosheets based on the LSPR of products (Nanoscale 2020, 12, 11979). The oligo functionalization of LE-MoS2 by the interaction of thiol groups was identified (ACS Appl. Mater. interfaces 2017, 9, 15286). The protein adsorption is devleoped as the functionaliation route for LE-MoS2 (Mater. Horiz. 2019, 6, 563). Please don't ignore those works. Thanks for your attention.
