In a scholar profile, in google scholar, when clicking on a link of an article for example, why some articles have a description and link to the page of the journal that publishes that article while other articles do not have such description and link?
The articles will automatically get descriptions when your journal indexed in Google Scholar, if it is indexed then you need to add your articles (not manually). second if you add manually then it get linked and get description when your journal published and uploaded in the google scholar. Hope I explained.
I think you are right, Mr Shahid Minhas. Do you think that the spelling of the ‘journal’ name, especially if it is added by the person manually, will affect too? because I noticed for the same author for two articles of a google scholar indexed journal, one has a link and description and the other one does not have a link and a description because of a single letter added to the name of the journal, for example, journal of science and journal of sciences.
