I am currently writing my master's thesis, trying to relate indices of SNA (nomination of best friends -> overall network measures (e.g., density), individual centrality measures) and SRM (round robin sympathy rating -> indices for individual popularity, leniency) to facets of self-concept (academic, general, social) as well as academic achievement. (~100 school classes, 2 measurement waves).

I would be very greatful for any advice (previous studies?) how to (conceptually and/or statistically) integrate those constructs (especially SRM-indices and self-concept, as they seem to be largely overlapping).

Thank you very much in advance.
