Is the only way people can get copies of articles from an author, is for the person asking to go through the CCC site and pay for the articles at those high rates? Is there anyway I can just send them a copy of my paper digitally from my files? On your page with the requests, it has buttons for "publicly share paper." Is that where I can just upload my digital copy of the MS, and they can download it from there? I am getting mixed messages from your site as opposed to the CCC process which seems more like censorship than in the old days when an author could just send a copy to the colleague on their own without any money changing hands.
