Hello every body would you, please, tell me something about the principles of current collection by Cu foil and how the current itself can be stored. Thank you for your cooperation!
Current collector is just a name and refers to Cu or Al foils that we use in Li-ion batteries.
These foils are just conductor materials and help to transfer the electrons from/to cathodic or anodic materials during charge/discharge process and there are no collection happening in them (just transferring of current happens).
