Hi everyone,
We need to mount Li-ion batteries capable of operating without problems at temperatures above 50 ºC. The electrodes we have made work well at high temperatures, but the electrolyte (1M LiPF6 in EC: DMC) is the one that causes a lot of problems, it breaks down and reacts. Can anyone suggest an electrolyte that we can use in these conditions?

Concentrated electrolytes widen the operating temperature (−20 °C) to 100 °C.

"The operating temperatures of commercial lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) are generally restricted to a narrow range of −20 to 55 °C because the electrolyte is composed of highly volatile and flammable organic solvents and thermally unstable salts. Thanks! We will try to increase the concentration, and we will do some tests. Hopefully recyclability will get worse, but we'll see how batteries work. Thanks again!
