This may help for your search of hourly solar radiation data. You may have to check if it includes north west Florida.

I fully agree with Reuben. The National Solar Radiation Database (NSRDB) is an excellent tool. Within the NSRDB, are several data sets. I am unsure of the existence of recent measuring stations in your area. Nevertheless, you may use the so-called Physical Solar Model (PSM) data set which results from a processing of satellite observations and models. Hope it helps. Best regards. Lucien

To my knowledge, the only station where solar radiation is measured in Florida would be at FSEC in Cocoa, but it might be difficult to obtain the current data. Older data is available from NREL: https://www.nrel.gov/grid/solar-resource/confrrm.html

Solar radiation data are also recorded for weather stations that have Davis Vantage Pro or Vantage Pro2 Plus stations. The tricky part is that stations must also generally report their data to the Citizen Weather Observer Program (CWOP, wxqa.com for more information), or perhaps other networks, so that they get to NOAA. I'm sharing a link with my station at my college, which is set up the same way that other CWOP stations would have the data. If the weather stations are a "plus" mode, they include solar radiation and UV dose measurements. There may be some helpful tips from others at wxqa.com and if stations have a "contact" information link, you may be able to get historical data from them. Here is the site I work with in Oregon at present:

Lane Community College (LCC Eugene campus): http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/wxpage.cgi?call=EW1169 (page has lots of tools to get tabulated data). You can pull data for the last 1000 hours or so I believe from the CWOP (findu) servers, and get QC data on the basic meteorological parameters but not solar radiation.

There may be some homeowners with solar systems where they publicize all of the energy data and there may be useful information there if you explore a bit for regions you are interested in. Good luck!
