I added 1.0 wt.% of MgO into ZTA (80 wt.% Al2O3), with x La2O3, x=(0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7,1.0, 3.0, 5.0 & 10.0) wt. %. The elongated (or platelike grains) were formed. The XRD (EVA software) gives possibility of both LaMgAl12O19 & LaAl11O18 formation. Their peaks are very close or exactly coincides to each other. However, the rietveld refinement through (X-PERT) software gives different GOF (around 4) for obtaining individual LaMgAl12O19, individual LaAl11O18 or both together. Meanwhile, The spinel (MgAl2O4) is also reduced with more La2O3 addition (it diminished above 1.0 wt. % of La2O3)..

Excuse me, anybody can provide the LaMgAl12O19 & LaAl11O18 stoichiometric ratios, especially the LaMgAl12O19?

Or any possible recommendation will be highly appreciated.
