I have the following labVIEW program. This program must read the power from an R&S NRP-Z81 power sensor and display the data. This program has an issue in viewing the maximum power. I don't how where I made the mistake or did somehting wrong in the coupling can someone help me.
Can you add link for the drivers you are using? Without them your VI is extremely hard to analyze.
What communication interface are you using for taking data input to LabVIEW from this sensor? Is it serial or a USB interface ?

As Pawel said, without the drivers the VI is not checkable, the 'NaN' value is an output of a VI that is provided by R&S. Some hints to find the fault:
- Put a scope on the error wire in & out of the power measurement VI. This will show you whether the VI gets a good reference to the instrument, and whether the instrument is providing the correct data for the VI.
- If possible, scope data within the R&S VI. See what happens that causes the VI to give a NaN. Maybe the settings on the instrument itself are not in a state that enables the VI to get the data. I've had this with an oscilloscope; when cursors are disabled, you do not get a valid response when acquiring the cursor position.
- I've seen you've asked more LabView questions, and that you're at TU Delft. I know that TU Delft has a department called 'DEMO' (Dienst Elektrische en Mechanische Ontwikkeling ?), and they are very experienced in LabView. You could maybe hire them for support, maybe let them make a data acquisition framework so you can work on the post processing & algorithms.
