I have created a model for the case study to implement differential protection and adaptive overcurrent protection for a micro-grid. I need some parameters with which to run the simulation.

1. Loading profile for the industrial and residential loads withing the MG would be great to have;
2. Injected errors, such as faults in the motors or power electronic units;
3. You should set-up reaction time for your protection system, as well as protection parameters.

and the SIMULINK is widely applied for modeling and simulations. Other than this, Homer, Python, etc are some open software that are useful for microgrid simulations.
It will be better to search the works very much similar to yours and use the exact software used as in that for easy validation.
