Subjects of clinical trials with KD interventions are supposed to monitor compliance with the dietary regimen by daily urine testing for ketosis. But does anyone know at what time of the day ketosis is best detected in urine or know articles investigating this issue?

I could only find 2 articles recommending to the probands a precise time of the day for daily measurement of ketone bodies in urine: 8:00 (Klement et al. 2013) and afternoon (Sharman et al. 2002).

Many thanks in advance and best regards,

Paul
