This week, when doing single cell picking of Jurkat cells, I noticed that the majority of the cells were sinking all the way to the bottom, leaving very few swimming cells, making them quite difficult to pick out.

The cells were diluted in PBS on a petri dish. We tried coating with albumin solution, which didn't make much of a difference, we also tried coating with FCS and once again, this didn't prevent them from sticking to the bottom.

Does anybody know any other method to avoid this issue?

Thanks in advance
