As a lead researcher, I am applying for a grant to the national science center. I am looking for junior researchers (without a PhD) in the fields of linguistics (applied linguistics, and psycholinguistics), political communication and cognitive science. This will be a 3-year, interdisciplinary project carried out by a renowned Polish university. I am looking for doctoral students from the United States, as this will be a comparative study in the field of political communication in Poland and the US.

Dear sir,
I am interested in the role of a Junior researcher to work with you on the fake news project. I studied English and Literary Studies, at the University of Nigeria, and majored in Linguistics: so I have sufficient knowledge on Linguistics courses and its approach to research.
More so, I am working on a manuscript to be submitted for publication soon on politically inspired unrest using electoral cases in Nigeria and court interventions as case study. On practical terms, As a member of the Nigerian Air Force, I have been privileged to serve among the team that managed some politically ignited unrest caused by fake information.
This project will advance both my academic and professional expertise and prepare me for the task ahead.

I would suggest that you reach out to labs that conduct research on political misinformation to enhance your study. Since your plan involves a comparative study, it would be beneficial to collaborate with someone holding a Master's degree, as they would have the necessary background knowledge before making comparisons. Among the recommended professors I know from the literature are Paul R. Brewer and Asheley R. Landrum. They might be valuable resources for your research in this area.

I am of the view that persons that studied Journalism and Communication will also be relevant in your research area.
Well, I am interested. However, there are challenges.
The first is that I am a specialist in Mass Communication. But I have an extended knowledge in political communication. In fact, my MSc thesis centered on political communication.
The second challenge is that I am a Nigerian. A PhD student in one of the Nigerian Universities. Hence, issue of location is another barrier.
