Many Researchers around the world considered that Conference Published Paper is ineffective then Journal paper even in most of the standard journal such as index by Science Citation Index or Engineering Index . what do you think
I think they are all good and important for academic development. Conference papers are critiqued and discussed by conference attendees and the papers are mostly sent for peer review to heighten their quality. Likewise, journal publications are also rigorously reviewed before publication. Mostly, conference papers are working papers that may still have to be fine tuned before publication. In most cases, conference papers are used as foundations for developing journal papers.
Yet, in my institution, journal publications are rated higher in terms of scores for promotional purposes. 5 marks for conference papers and 10 marks for journal papers.
In general papers published in journals have more chances of citations than those published in Conference proceedings.

Mainly some abstracts and a few papers (some of them are of review type articles) published in the Proceedings of most of the Scientific Conferences (in most of the cases as print only!). Some of those abstracts are remodeled and published as paper in journals afterwards. It is my personal experience.
In such cases, definitely the quality of published papers which pass rigid peer review process of the journals will be of far better quality than the conference publications.
I think it is quite natural.
I prefer journal publisherd paper.
In Iraq ،according with the instructions of scientific promotion 2017. Publishing in journals gives the researcher more points than publication in conferences.
Minimum points when publication in journals 10 points but publication in any conference 5 points only.
