The journal “Journal of Theoretical and Applied Information Technology” is indexed in Scopus according to https://www.scopus.com/sourceid/19700182903 However there are red flags:
-The journal is mentioned in the standalone journal version of the Beall’s list https://beallslist.net/standalone-journals/
-You can see disturbing comments on SCImago about this journal https://www.scimagojr.com/journalsearch.php?q=19700182903&tip=sid
-Papers have no DOI and received and accepted info
-Indexing info http://www.jatit.org/indexing.php mentions “Thomson Science Citation Index Expanded (Being Monitored)” is misleading and nonsense for multiple reasons: 1. Thomson Reuter is outdated since it is nowadays Clarivate, 2. Indexing in SCIE is not happening before indexing in ESCI (obviously they are not indexed in this either)
I seriously would doubt, not convinced that this is a safe choice.
