Does anyone have any experience of using this device (qNano) to characterise nanoparticles?
In particular, I'm interested in characterising iron oxide-based particles, with surfaces including polystyrene, fluorophores, PEI, antibodies, etc.
Has anyone successfully measured diameter, charge (zeta potential), concentration of such particles?

I have just begun my Level 1 training on the IZON qNano. As a student my access is limited, however, this instrument has the ability to measure all characteristics you listed above. It is a remarkable technology that reduces uncertainty that may be observed with other characterization instuments.

I'm interested in characterising iron oxide nanoparticles, used to label and/or transfect cells. The particles I'm using are ~35 nm, ~150 nm and ~360 nm, with varying coatings. Some are cationic, some anionic.
As some are transfection-grade, I'd like to know how large they are once functionalised with nucleic acids, and how this affects their charge.
Is the charge/zeta potential and average value? Presumably the charge can vary across the surface of the particle?
Will the size be determined in 1 axis? That is, would a cylinder be measured in whatever orientation it passed through the sensor?
What happens when particles aggregate? Do small aggregations pass through the sensor, and get measured, while large aggregations remain in the sample chamber?

We just purchased this device for the analysis of biological particles. It is less user friendly than the newest Nanosight platforms, but about 1/3rd of the cost.

Is anyone using iZON qNano for zeta analyser?
I need to measure the zeta potential of my liposome samples and I need to know how to operate iZON qNano and how to prepare my sample?
