I am doing a research study on the regulation of the immune response during Mesocestoides corti infection of mice. I am wondering because I see different types of monocyte-macrophage lineage under the light microscope. I don't know if I could see different forms by using simple staining or even if I could distinguish macrophagse and freshly derived monocytes from the peritonel cavity atleast (f.e. different staining affinity).
