Issue on setting cloud type when we conduct atmospheric radiation transfer simulation using MODTRAN and libRadtran model ?

It is very important to perform atmospheric radiation transfer simulation. There are two major radiation transfer simulation models such as MODTRAN and libRadtran. For cloud type setting, MODTRAN provides selection including "Nimbostratus, Stratocumulus, Stratus, Altostratus, and Cumulus". However, libRadtran provides selection including "ice cloud, water cloud". We want to simulate satellite TOA reflectance under different surface and atmosphere conditions. Cloud type setting influence the simulation results ?
