The system must have a sensitivity of 1cm at a range of 2 m.

Also if the camera has a sensitivity of 0.1mm.  f=10cm.

What does the statement "The system must have a sensitivity of 1cm at a range of 2 m" mean? Does it mean the change in 'u' or is it the change in 'x' or is it the ratio of the change in 'x' and 'u'?

The same question for "the sensitivity of the camera, which is given as 0.1mm".
