Life satisfaction is basically a construct of wellbeing that is cognitive or evaluative said in the literature. You can check the following studies about this issue.

I beg to differ with the findings that life satisfaction is an economic indicator. Had it been the case the people of Upper Classes might not be facing frustration. Yes, It is an undeniable fact that there is a close link between life satisfaction and economic condition of an individual/family but not the ultimate one.
