I am currently running some lacZ reporter assays and am just confirming if this is the correct formula to use to calculate Miller Units :
The formula is:
OD(420) - [1.75 * OD(550)]
Units = 1000 X --------------------------
t * v * OD(600)

correct formula is Units = 1000 X (OD(420) - [1.75 * OD(550)] )/ t * v * OD(600)

Sorry, to avoid misunderstanding it's better to write like below:
Units = 1000 X (OD(420) - [1.75 * OD(550)]) / (t * v * OD(600))
