I received an email from Science Domaine to review a scientific article published in peer review in the following journal: "International Astronomy and Astrophysics Research Journal".

After doing my job as a reviewer, I received this certificate.
My question is this: is it a fake? Can we trust it?

Of course YES, its very important indice that you are a participant in the process of reviewing which is the most important step in the scientific and academic publications.
There are a number of journals, whose editor used to give the certificate to motivate the reviewers for quality review and such journals try to establish them with the quality research papers.

An impact factor of 0.23 for this journal should give one pause:

Don't look very credible to entice reviewers this way. Why not give free logins to those subscribed journal.
Time will tell. There is nothing to say against this practice of honoring contributors. If we are too judgemental, we will not be able to do something new. Established journals and firms, who are already full in-the-for-profit business will never like newcomers in the field. The publication sector is under a great transformation; so, time will tell.
