hello everybody
Does anybody knows if there is or whats the best medium for B. bassiana sporulation on plates? Currently growing my isolate on Merck's Sabouraud 4% dextrose agar. I'v tried PDA to but sporulation is very poor on both. is there any tweaks that i can make to the medium for better results? (I'm searching for commercially available medium). also trying different growth parameters to see if there is a change.

There are several tricks to make fungi sporulate. Injuring the mycelium with a scalpel, exposing it to sunlight, UV or sub-optimal temperatures. Since this fungus is a insect-eater culturing it on colloidal chitin might help with spore production.
