I find it quite troublesome when people upload something queer or peculiar in place of their own photograph on their profile page. Had it been a hard copy submission they could not have done it. "Face is the Index of the Mind" -- they say. No face or something other than the face in place of the face may be due to various reasons e.g. unavailability of soft-copy of photograph, lack of expertise in uploading etc. It may even be just for the fun of it that some one uploads something strange. The trouble with grammar deepens when you don't know whether you are talking to a male or a female.

Are there any studies in this regard on RG or elsewhere by cyber-psychology experts or behavioral psychologists.
