We are monitoring cliff-breeding vultures. We may have a single photo with one nest, or with multiple nests. We have taken photos at the nesting stage and now we want to match these to the same nests a few months later, some of which have chicks, so we can measure breeding success. Is there any software that can recognize the same nest site between 2 or more photos (taken from slightly different angles), and then lay the images on top of each other, or otherwise project them in a before-and-after scenario, so that we can more easily assess breeding success?
