GDD is varied for place to place as well as latitude. It is depend on temperature. If Temperature same GDD will be same of Latitudes.

as Latitude affect on temperature and GDD is based on temperature, so GDD excepted to be different in various Latitude .

1. if Same crop sown at different location like wheat have same GDD but change as per variety/cultivars as per characteristics of early, timely and late sowing.

2. The GDD change due to influence of day temperature (maximum temperature) and nocturnal or night temperature (minimum temperature),

3. At different latitude have different GDD values for maturity of crop and attained different phenophase.

4. if same latitude have same GDD theoretic value but actually its change due to change climate type, agro climatic region which influence the base temperature crop.
