I understand some nonpolar dyes like Draq5 are able to travel through the cell membrane and into the nucleus. Are there any such dyes that stain for any of your stereotypical cardiac markers like alpha-actin or tropomyosin? I've found some live stain protocols that use conjugated antibodies, but these mostly target cell surface markers. Thanks a lot for the help!
