Even this topic is 5 years old, I would like to ask if somebody has tried to emulsify PDMS or OH-terminated PDMS in water with "silicone" surfactants? These are polydimethylsiloxane backbone and polyether hydrophilic chains, sometimes OH captured. Typical surfactants are DC198, DC193, Momentive SR234, most of them used as stabilizers / emulsifiers in production of rigid or flex polyurethane foams.
