Please more describe your model. Pinching effect can be due to bond-slip effects or buckling in steel plate and etc. Are you going to verify an experimental paper?
Unfortunately Abaqus is not able to consider pinching effects of RC elements. This fact is also described in the literature [1][2]. However, Abaqus can well obtain the envelope under monotonic loading. By using this envelope you can define a MultiLinear Plastic Link in SAP2000 with Pivot hysteresis model [3]. I have attached a schematic representation of this modeling approach. In order to calibrate pinching parameters of pivot hysteresis model, there is another useful paper which I can suggest you [4].
This macromodel-based approach is completely reliable and even less time-consuming compared to detailed models.
