Hi i need little help. i have detected histones in the body of parasite. is there any way to differentiate between host proteins and parasitic proteins? as histones are nuclear proteins and parasites (ecto) dont have blood within them, so it is our thinking that these proteins have entered into the body of parasite during feeding on host. moreover, if these are host proteins, then which techniques be used to identify the role of histones within body of parasites?
