yes preferably equilateral triangular patch antenna
If you cut slot in the Ground plane it will help you reduce the cross polarization.
There are many IEEE papers. Check the website IEEE xplore. Irrespective of weather your patch antenna is wearable or not, cross polarization reduction is pertinent to most planar (and microstrip patch) antennas.
