Is there any specific number of variables to be taken for performing PCA for water quality parameters?

I did an analysis for different water samples collected from 6 chosen sampling stations of a village, and analyzed for 14 water quality parameters. Can I perform PCA with the data I have?

Yes you can. Maybe it is easier to start with a correlation analysis. But nevertheless, just try it and see if PCA gives additional insight. Results can be influenced by non-normal distribution of the data - so check in advance and potentially correct your data.
