Generally in LLE the final extract (sample) obtained is not as clean as compared to the Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) so analysis of batches of say 100-200 samples every day with LLE extracted samples causes the matrix to start depositing on normal columns with particle size and so the back pressure increases on continuous run. But as monolithic columns don't have particle size it is assumed that these depositions will be less so exists no or minimal problem of column back pressure.

Note:We have found this in our practical experiment also but just want to know the logic behind the above and is our assumption true?
