I am working on a stock of Neoproterozoic granite of the Malani Igneous suite in SE Pakistan. It is composed of a uniform granite, cut by many mafic, felsic and rhyolite dykes. In fourteen granite analyses, Al2O3, TiO2, total FeO, MgO, CaO and Na2O show negative correlation, while K2O, Rb, U and Th show positive correlation with SiO2. TiO2, U, and Sr show positive correlation and Th shows weak negative correlation with MgO. The Na2O shows negative correlation with K2O, and I do not know the significance (if any) of this. The Na2O content of the analyses ranges from 2.7 to 5.o% and K2O from 2,9 to 4,7%.
