I have tried some glass matrices. But i don't get transparent glass. Carbon nanoparticles get accumulated in particular region. I don't get homogeneity. So can anyone suggest me an appropriate material to add carbon nanoparticles.

It may be attributed to interfacial tension between glass matrix and carbon nanoparticles as a filler. You may try carbon nanofibers and use some interfacial adhesive to have better cohesiveness between two phases.

The hydroxyl group of the glass surface can be activated in an alkaline medium by NaOH. Also, carbon nanotubes can be oxidized and carboxylated in the presence of strong oxidizing agents. It is now possible to form a chemical bond between hydroxyl groups of the glass surface with the carboxyl groups of carbon nanotube.
