Beet (Beta vulgaris) and potato have many common pathogens ( Rhizoctonia solani, Streptomyces scabies, Pectobacterium atrosepticum, etc.). Can Phytophthora infestans cause disease on beet leaves?

There is a related species Phytophthora drechsleri (syn. Phytophthora erythroseptica var. drechsleri (Tucker) Sarej., (1936) causing root rot of beet, and close to pink rot of potato pathogen Phytophthora erythroseptica, but no records on P. infestans.
