Is there any possibility of getting overlap of hyperfine lines of two sites at all orientations in metal ion doped single crystal EPR specturm?

For example, if copper doped single crystals have 6 hyperfine lines only, and each line is split up into four lines then we may say that two site occupation of Cu2+ ion.
