Is there any possibility of diacetylene containing materials to aggregate in basic medium?

Since acetylene is slightly acidic in nature, in basic medium can they aggregate? Because, as the pH of medium is increasing beyond 4, my material shows red shift in fluorescence spectrum.

Fluorescence intensity is increasing as the time passes. Emission wavelength remains the same. Intensity is changing upon variation in concentration also. But, emission wavelength is still the same.
