Is there any method to reveal PEG-based-copolymer on TLC, the monomer is UV-active but after polymerization only its own spot is viewed under UVlight?

Is it possible that the monomer and its PEG based copolymer have same migration profile and how it is possible to monitor the polymerization with TLC to know either there is a reaction or not...
