If we are to draw a simple random sample from a finite population, say from a population of size 1000000, we can draw it by lottery method, by random numbers' tables etc. . The sampling technique for this purpose is simple random sampling with replacement (SRSWR) and/or simple random sampling without replacement (SRSWOR).

But if we are to draw a simple random sample from an infinite population then how to draw this type of sample.

Is there any method of drawing of simple random sample from an infinite population ?
