Hi kebbab, by XRD you cab easily calculate the lattice parameter of the material. So if you take one undeformed and other specifically deformed material's lattice parameter you can easily calculate it. Please also consider the texturing effect during deformation..please let me know whether you found it or not

Koushik is absolutely right. To add a little more detail, remember that XRD allows you to determine not just lattice parameters but interplanar spacings in different crystallographic directions. By carefully choosing the peaks you use in your calculations, it's therefore possible to measure elastic constants in different crystallographic directions. Using a polycrystalline sample, it is in fact possible to determine ALL of the single crystal elastic constants in a single experiment!

One experimental difficulty in performing such an experiment is that using laboratory XRD equipment, the count time required to generate data of sufficient quality is a matter of hours, meaning that only a few data points can be obtained and a loading rig with a VERY low drift rate is essential. For this reason, it's more usual to use a synchrotron source with a much higher X-ray flux. To give you an idea, I assisted with an experiment of this type at the Diamond Light Source here in the UK, during which we were able to collect a complete high-resolution powder pattern every 0.4 seconds. You can see how this greatly simplifies simultaneous diffraction and mechanical testing!

The Diamond Light Source is the UK's national synchrotron radiation source - equivalent to the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in France, the Swiss Light Source in Switzerland and others around the world... I believe the Indian equivalent would be Indus. It provides very high flux X-ray sources for experiments in materials science, biology and all sorts of other disciplines. I know that getting beam time involves writing a proposal and applying to the committee, but I'm afraid I'm unable to help you with that as I haven't been through the process myself.
