As the hydrological routing method such as Muskingum-Cunge method is based on the continuously flowing water, Muskingum-Cunge routing method is not suitable for the intermittent stream network, which consists of flowing, non-flowing(ponding) and dry segments. Is there any hydrological routing method suitable for intermittent flow at the river network scale? Thanks in advance for your help.
