I disagree with you prof pneumocci infection is dealing with lungs any thing that affect the lungs also affect breath and once there is accumulation of fluid in the lungs it can lead to difficulty in breathing which is one of the symptoms that accompanied with covid 19 which the droplets from the sneezing,Cough and breathing can infect the individual that come in contact with it or surfaces in respect to that bacteria are microbes ,but some of the bacteria and virus infections comes with the same symptoms such as sneezing ,coughing etc this symptoms can be acute which last for a short period of time,it can be chronic which can last for months and years and also it can be latent which the individual will not present any symptoms at a particular time but later it can develop symptoms

By coincidence, this morning (May 6) I was speaking with someone who pointed out that an insect might be considered a flying surface.
If the insect surface was contaminated by COVID-19 then in theory (in your words "technically possible") the contaminated insect body surface coming into contact with a person who accidentally conveys the virus to a vulnerable entry point of their own body might lead to infection. The set of circumstances leading to that seems highly remote since it involves: contaminated insect surface contaminating a person's hands or face and the virus gaining entry to the person's body. Are there any studies of this kind of transmission?
In sum, your reply points out that there are two circumstances to consider:

Its early to think of mosquitoes as tiny flaring dirty syringes transfering droplets of infected blood from person to person,the reality is far more complex.
When a mosquito bites and sucks up some blood that contains a virus ,the virus quickly ends up in the gut of the insect from there ,the virus needs to infect the cells lining the gut and "escape'to infect the rest of the mosquito,spreading to the legs ,wings,and the head.the virus has to infect the saliva glands before being passed on by the mosquito when it next bites.
This process can take few days to over a week .
But time is not the only barrier the virus also has to negotiate getting out of the gut ,getting through the body and then into the saliva.Each step in the process can be an impenetrable barrier to the virus.
This may be straight forward for viruses that have adopted to this process but for others ,the virus will perish in the gut or excreted.

As per the reserach on COVID-19 , mosquitos can not act as vectors for transmission as they prefer the blood of humans. Mostly spread from human to human through physical contact and from contaminated surfaces when the patient sneezes or through cough / cold droplets .
There is no evidence on this type of transmission. It may be due to the low viral load, the scarce passage of the virus through the skin or the transformations that take place once the mosquitoes bite ... the data are very few ..
