I found several collapsin (formerly called semaphorin) response mediator proteins (CRMP) upregulated in a proteome of our primary hippocampal neuronal culture-treated with neurotrophin-mimetics. Literature suggest a very canonical role of these CRMP proteins, including some axon specific function (for instance, CRMP2). However, our experimental cell biology report indicates that they must have some specific role on the dendrite maturation. I need to know whether there is any CRMP protein that has a dendrite-specific role
